Release number 28 is the final bottling in this batch of releases and is a rather tasty dram full of honey and spice.
This whisky was distilled in 2010 and finished in a single refill barrel #800063 before being bottled at 10 years of age with a natural cask strength of 58.5% with a yield of just 240 bottles.

Alistair's Tasting Notes Colour:Yellow gold. Nose:Bananas and marzipan. Vanilla and toffee, with an intriguing hint of cashew nuts. Taste:Honey and vanilla. Sugared almonds, stewed raisins and caramelised Demerara sugar. Very spicy, especially at the back - allspice, cloves and pepper. Finish:Zingy, and spicy… seriously spicy.
