Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
An old bottle of Ardbeg 25-year-old Lord of the Isles Islay single malt whisky. Bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration, this version was released in 2007, meaning it was one of the last batches of Ardbeg Lord of the Isles.
Originally released in 2001 to take over from Ardbeg Provenance, Ardbeg Lord of the Isles was an immediate hit with whisky fans thanks to its fantastic depth and complexity. The whisky from this edition must have been distilled no later than 1981, when Ardbeg went on hiatus.

Richly sherried and fruit driven and all the better for knowing that all proceeds will go the very worthwhile cause of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance.
I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife. The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
