This bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof is a unique blend of 6, 8 and 12-year-old whiskies and these give the whiskey a smooth flavour considering the high ABV. Also, with it being Barrel Proof that means that there is no water added to lower the proof or dilute the flavour after it's been distilled.
Wild Turkey has been produced on the same site since 1869 and has a proud bourbon tradition in that it has the only active father and son distilling team that combines over 100 years of expertise. Jimmy Russell is now the longest-serving whiskey distiller in the world after joining Wild Turkey in 1954 and is often referred to as the Bourbon Buddha.
