Batch 19/042 is a 2006 Speyburn whisky bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range.
G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%. It was matured for 12 years in a refill sherry butt that yielded 634 bottles.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
