North Star Spirits have an elegant solution to the occasional issue of casks with not much whisky left in them - bottle them in smaller bottles in a new series called Periodical!
For the first release in what will be an irregular series, North Star Periodical #1 is a 12-year-old single malt from An Orkney Distillery, the leftovers from a large refill puncheon cask. For their Periodical releases, North Star are bottling these malts at 50% in 50cl bottles - at prices under £50.
With its very cool retro packaging and bargain price we expect North Star Periodical to fly out the door. Please note, therefore, that this product is Strictly Maximum 1 Bottle Per Person. Duplicate orders will be deleted.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
