Longmorn distillery is one of those hidden gems that not many talk about. And it is a shame as even their entry-level whiskies are fantastic.
This is one of the distilleries discontinued 15-year-olds bottled during the early 1990s.
These old 15-year-old Longmorn’s are incredibly good drinking whiskies and are just about starting to get the recognition they deserve. This one was bottled during the early 1990s making it a late 1970s distillation. Very underrated whisky.
Please note this example has some wear & tear to the label so we have priced it accordingly. Perfect for anyone looking to drink it, because who cares what it looks like!

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
