A lovely 1980s litre bottle of Logan 12-year-old De Luxe which, as the name implies, was the fancy age-statement version of this popular blended whisky and was bottled at 43%.
We don't see much of Logan's in the UK nowadays but back in the 1970s it was a well-known top shelf blend. Logan's whisky was from the White Horse stable, and this 1980s litre bottle would likely have a high malt content - which is great news, as one of the main malts for Logan's was Caol Ila. Expect a rich, smoky, coppery dram packed with flavour.
