This 22-year-old Jura Pinot Noir Finish was entitled One For The Road as this was the valedictory bottling for the distillery's long-serving manager, the great Willie Cochrane who retired from Jura in 2016 after 39 years of service. Jura One For The Road was a limited edition of 5000 bottles at 47%. A top class Jura and a fitting tribute to an Island whisky legend.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
