Fine Champagne in Cognac indicates that the constituent eaux-de-vie in the blend came exclusively from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne sub-appellations.
These old 1980s/90s cognacs are tremendous, with a great elegance and complexity often missing from their modern day counterparts, and they are always superb value.
