Appearance: Varnished mahogany.
Nose: Intense layers of dark fruit and chocolate infused with walnut and linseed oil.
Palate: Nutty Oloroso sherry with walnut, Brazil nut and raisins with lingering warmth of cinnamon and field berry preserve.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
