This Smoke & Glory is a single cask 14-year-old Croftengea 2007 bottled in 2021 without colouring or chill filtration by up-and-coming indie bottlers Heroes & Heretics.
Croftengea is one of several peated whiskies produced at the Loch Lomond distillery, but the Croftengea name seems to have been retired for their official bottlings, with OB peated Loch Lomonds all now coming under the Inchmoan banner.
It's great to see evidence that there are still casks of Croftengea out in the wild - this particular Smoke & Glory Heroes & Heretics edition came from a single hogshead of 2007 Croftengea that yielded 276 bottles at 51%.
