Description

Cognac 68cl 40%

An old 68cl bottle of Courvoisier's VSOP cognac, made entirely with Fine Champagne eaux-de-vie. This would have been bottled in the early to mid-1980s before the bottle neck was elongated.

Fine Champagne is not an appellation in and of itself, but is used to signify that the cognacs used in the assemblage for this Courvoisier VSOP came exclusively from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions, the two most prestigious growing areas in Cognac. These lovely old Courvoisier VSOP bottles aren't just beautiful objects for cognac collectors - the standard of the cognac inside is breathtaking for a VSOP and makes these old bottles a must-try for anyone wishing to explore old collectable spirits.
