A fabulous and very rare old bottle of Founders Whisky, a very special blended Scotch bottled in 1937 for the 150th Anniversary of the brewing company Courage & Co Ltd, which was founded by John Courage in 1787.
This Founders Whisky for Courage will certainly have a high proportion of aged single malts - most blends at the time had at least 30-40% malt whisky in the recipe and special premium blends like this one frequently had 50% or more malt content. As the cherry on top, this particular bottle is one of the best-preserved examples of Founders Whisky we have seen.
