This well known undisclosed single cask whisky "Probably Speyside's Finest" was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 2008 by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask series.

It was matured for 41 years in a Sherry Butt that yielded 326 bottles.

If you don't know, rumour has it that this is from the legendary Glenfarclas distillery.

Nose: Warmingly spiced - It runs sweet, mellow, fruity and nutty.
Palate: Toasted, tannic, gristy, (dark) sugary, mocha'd and vanilla'd.
Finish: Richly fruited, spicy, smoky, "baked" then mentholated.
