Considering this whisky has spent its life in rum hoggies it is surprisingly balanced with the rum influence being very soft and well integrated.

The Springbankiness is still very much here in this one which is always good news.

Leafy, honied and more medicinal than usual Springbanks, this may be the rum influence but it clearly works very well in this one.

Lots of pepper, touches of mint and some drying coastal/citrus extractive notes. Very entertaining and quite complex whisky.
