A small batch Lagavulin Islay Jazz Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2017 for the Islay Jazz Festival which is sponsored and hosted by the distillery.
The casks for this special edition cask strength Lagavulin Islay Jazz were selected by legendary Lagavulin warehouseman Iain 'Pinkie' McArthur, who celebrated 50 years at the distillery in 2020 and were a mix of refill American hogsheads and refill European sherry butts, with 6000 bottles released at natural cask strength of 57.6%.
These Lagavulin Jazz Festival bottlings are highly popular with fans of the distillery but were only on sale at the distillery during the event and consequently are difficult to find nowadays.
