One of a run of incredible Islay Festival exclusives that Bunnahabhain bottled in the early 2000s. This 1966 was bottled in 2002 at 35 years of age from cask number 4379 a sherry butt. One of 401 bottles released at 46.1%. This is brilliant, salty, nervous, resinous and sinew sherried style of Islay whisky. Like a singe cask Auld Acquaintance almost. Totally beautiful stuff.
