A 2005 vintage 12 year old Benriach that surprisingly is the joint eldest in batch 14! Matured in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt that yielded 625 bottles at 58.8%. Nose: Crisp oak and citrus peel, sundried raisins and rich prune syrup with hints of cinnamon and black pepper. Taste: Crisp stem ginger warms caramelised orchard fruits and yellow plums, finishing with rich golden syrup and barley sugars.
