A 45 year old Ben Nevis is nothing to sniff at, these aged Ben Nevis casks can be quite wild and whacky whiskies but they are often spectacularly jammed full of old style farmyard, waxy and mineral qualities with unusual fruity aspects, grassy notes and big oily characteristics. This Directors' Cut one should be quite a stunner, distilled in 1967 the same year Charlie Chaplin opened his last film "A Countess From Hong Kong".
