The 'white 'label' Cadenhead's series was a notorious collection of bottlings that showcased (whether deliberately or not ,we'll probably never know) super-potent, difficult, unsexy, eccentric and powerfully old style bottlings. This brilliant Ardmore is surprisingly one of the easier examples when you look at it next to the likes of the mad Linlithgow, Glen Mhor and Lagavulin from the same series. A great piece of history.
