A general release of the now famous Very Young Ardbeg distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2004 at 58.3%. This was pretty notorious stuff when it first came out and started a bit of a trend towards young, super heavily peated whiskies. Looking back at it now it's still a cracking dram that remains the last word for true peat heads, it's still a monster of a whisky.
