Sugar Cane Rum

Produced and owned by Moet Hennessy from 2005 to 2015 this rum was named after the tradition of hand-harvesting and bundling together sugar cane stalks in batches of 10.

Produced by using the very first pressing of sugar cane rather than molasses the spirit is created via small-batch distillation in French pot stills and then aged in French oak to mellow the flavour somewhat.

This is a luxury rum that unfortunately didn't stand the test of time, and it is a shame too.
