Balmenach was a new Distillery to me that is probably better known these days for it's Gin production. I've tried quite a few of the SV 100 Proof offerings and have yet to be disappointed. I have found that Balmenach Whisky isn't that easy to get hold of so this was a good opportunity to try it and I was nicely impressed. If you like sherry bombs you'll probably like this one.

Pale colour, quite fragrant with a very smooth body. Quite sweetish, but very enjoyable.

Happy with product served at my mrs baby shower went down a treat

Excellent service but can’t coment yet because bottle yet to be oppened.

My favourite distillery and this does not disappoint. Shame only 40 abv and that G&M no longer are producing this distillate.

Excellent quality dram from Orkney (Highland Park) with a presentation rarely seen from the distillery itself. Great value and highly recommended as most of the Signatory Vintage 100 proof series are.
