Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Murray McDavid 70cl / 57.4%
A 21-year-old Ledaig 2001 bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2022 by Murray McDavid as a UK Exclusive in their Mission Gold series. Ledaig, of course, is the peated single malt whisky from Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull.
This 2001 Ledaig 21-year-old was finished in a Margaux red wine cask that yielded 186 bottles at a hefty 57.4%. Long-aged Ledaig is slowly becoming more common these days, which is obviously a good thing, but we're still expecting this one to go pretty quickly.
