Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 53%
Just a quick sideways ferry trip over the straights from Islay and you get to the shores of Jura. In some ways, a similar, but less inhabited Island to Islay and they do produce a very different whisky over there.
Batch 19/081 is a 1991 Isle of Jura bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%.
It was matured for 28 years in a refill American hogshead that yielded just 205 bottles.
