Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery bottling 70cl / 40%
An old bottle of Glenfiddich 15-year-old most likely bottled around the mid to late Noughties. The 15-year-old is one of the most interesting bottles in Glenfiddich's core range and has long been hugely popular with Glenfiddich aficionados.
This Glenfiddich 15-year-old was matured in three types of oak cask - Sherry, Bourbon and New Oak - before being married in the distillery's massive solera vat, which is routinely tapped for bottling but always kept at least half full and topped up with new casks of 15-year-old Glenfiddich. An easygoing, approachable dram with more richness and depth than the classic Glenfiddich 12-year-old.
