A 12-year-old Glencadam 2011 single cask bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by our tweed-bedecked pals at Berry Bros & Rudd.
This BBR Glencadam 2011 12-year-old started life in a hogshead before being finished for the final year in a cask that formerly held a sweet Muscat wine that has contributed some wonderfully complementary fresh exotic fruit and floral notes to the dram, of which there are just 255 bottles at a hefty natural cask strength of 59.7%.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Apricots, peaches, orange blossom and honey yoghurt all flutter out of the glass, making for a wonderfully refreshing nose.
Palate: The palate is gloriously thick, bringing more bright fruits along with mango syrup, chewy dried pineapple and a hint of drying wood varnish.
Finish: All of this is wrapped up on the lingering palate by further notes of fruit syrup. This is amazingly fresh and floral.

There are a lot of better and cheaper sherried single malts. This one is decent, but too young and I think this is overpriced. I wouldn't buy another bottle of this young single malt at this price level.
