Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 40%
An old bottling of Dalmore 12 year old from the 1990s. Dalmore 12-year-old appeared in this tall bottle with a black label for over a decade from the mid-1980s onwards and most editions are terrific drams.
Typically these old presentation 12-year-old Dalmores show wonderfully clean, rich sherry with succulent and heavy Highland sinew underneath. They are earthy, leafy, oily, gently smoky and fresh with surprising length and complexity for standard bottlings. Richard Paterson and Whyte & Mackay were really ahead of the game with the cask selection back then.
