A small batch of The English Distillery's 2013 vintage peated English single malt whisky matured in sherry hogshead casks and bottled in 2025.
This 2013 English Whisky is described as Gently Smoked, though the peating level is listed as a not-insignificant 44.6ppm, and matured in a small batch of sherry hogshead casks before being bottled in a limited edition of just 1380 bottles at a good drinking strength of 46%. The English Distillery (formerly known as St. George's until 2023) have been releasing outstanding sherried whisky of late, and celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2026 - all signs point to this one being a belter.
