Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl / 54.1%
An 18 year old Dailuaine, distilled on 23 May 2008 and bottled in September 2026 by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series. Drawn from single cask #133, an Oloroso sherry hogshead, this Speyside single malt was bottled at 54.1%, with an outturn of 330 bottles. This is release number 194 in the series.
This particular release has received an Oloroso sherry finish, bringing an additional layer of richness to the distillery's naturally full-bodied character. The influence of the sherry cask promises notes of dried fruits, warming spices, dark chocolate and polished oak, balanced by the underlying malty depth for which Dailuaine is known.
Founded in 2018 by Alistair Walker, the Infrequent Flyers series focuses on carefully selected single casks from distilleries that are often overlooked or less frequently encountered as independent bottlings. This 2008 vintage Dailuaine is a particularly interesting addition to the range, combining 18 years of ageing with the influence of Oloroso sherry and a generous bottling strength.

Fabulous easy on the pallet , likes a little water, warm , buttery and nutty . Everyone I've given it to say how much they love it. Less one star as it's not as long on the pallet as I like. But I'll get more.
