From Gordon & MacPhail's much-beloved Distillery Labels series, this Glentauchers is a small batch bottling of casks from the 2007 vintage (including some sherry casks according to the tasting notes) and was bottled at 46% towards the end of 2021, making this a 13/14 year old.
It's fair to say that Glentauchers is one of the lesser-known distilleries in the Distillery Labels series, but that lack of name recognition makes for extremely competitive prices - this 2007 Glentauchers looks like terrific value.

Palate: Smooth flavours of stewed apples are accompanied by nougat and almonds.

I bought this as a present then did the tour with my brother at Lindores Abbey distillery in Newburgh Fife.The bottle i bought from Whisky-online was cheaper than at Lindores ,very happy again and a very quick delivery.
