Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva Rum Cask Finish

A well organised on-line tasting, The whiskies started off good and increased in quality, the last mystery whisky was one of the best i have ever tasted, and i have had my fair share of whiskies.
The people on the tasting were very knowledgable, The brand ambassador took us through the journey if Gordon & MacPhail.
The process of ordering the sample kits was simple, delivery was quick, and the on-line tasting was informative.

This cask strength sherried Caol Ila from G&M is incredible, like all Connoisseur's Choice cask strength expressions, the tasting notes on the bottle provide a very accurate description of the profile. This is an excellent whisky when left in the glass to mellow and a drop of water opens things up nicely.

I would have never purchased this, but it was recommended.so probably whisky snobbery. just looks a bit uninviting.
But
wow fruity on the nose, oily,and at 46% very smooth.a long lasting taste.probaly the grain and bourbon make it that bit sweeter, in a good way.
at £44 a great recommendation from Harrison.so give it a go.
