Japanese Single Malt Whisky
Delicate and light, Miyagikyo is produced on the island of Honshu and is akin to a Speyside style. Climatically the air is very humid and is perfect for ageing whisky.
Harmonized by a crisp light scent of malt with the fragrance of the cask. The palate is characterized by its silky smoothness.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Soft barley, some bourbon sweetness with citrus and light smoke. A little bit nutty.
Palate: Very satisfying, lots going on, bourbon cask shines through. Silky and fruity.
Finish: Oak, spice and sherry.
