Gordon & MacPhail's masterpieces under their super rare Private Collection label are presented here as a set of two.
On the 2nd of February 1961, George Urquhart of Gordon & Macphail commissioned the filling of first-fill sherry casks at the Longmorn distillery in Speyside.
Some 57 years later twin brothers Stuart and Richard Urquhart of Gordon & Macphail selected these two casks that their grandfather had laid down.
These are the oldest Longmorn single malts ever released making them very special indeed. Each of the whiskies is supposed to mirror the personality of the Urquhart twins hence the name "Twin Set".
