Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 64.0%
After closing, along with nearly every other distillery during World War II, The Glenlivet reopened and has grown to be one of the biggest single malt whiskies in the world.
Independent bottlings like this one are a go-to for many whisky fans due to the quality of wood used and the fact that cask strength usually tends to be king.
Batch 19/105 is a 2004 Glenlivet bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%.
It was matured for 14 years in a refill bourbon barrel that yielded just 162 bottles.
