The inaugural release in Macallan's annual A Night on Earth series, this limited edition Highland single malt was bottled in 2021 as a celebration of Scotland's famous Hogmanay festivities. Created to capture the warmth, optimism and traditions surrounding New Year's Eve, A Night on Earth in Scotland marked the beginning of what has become one of Macallan's most distinctive modern limited edition collections.

Matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon casks alongside American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, the whisky showcases Macallan's signature balance of creamy sweetness and gentle spice. The vibrant packaging and bottle label were created in collaboration with acclaimed Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, whose artwork draws inspiration from the colours, traditions and festive spirit of Hogmanay. Subtle references to Scotland's winter celebrations are woven throughout the design, while the whisky itself was created to evoke comforting seasonal flavours.

Colour: Warm Ember.

Nose: Vanilla, butter rich, baked apple, baking biscuits, plum and almond.

Palate: Soft velvety sweetness reminiscent of shortbread with a rich mouth coating, vanilla sweetness, with lightly toasted marshmallow, dried oranges, fig and cinnamon.

Finish: Medium finish with sweet butterscotch and freshly baked biscuits.
