Ardbeg's annual Committee Release editions each have a different 'gimmick' or point of difference and Ardbeg Heavy Vapours is no exception - the whisky in this instance was distilled without the use of Ardbeg's famous purifier, which sits on the spirit still and catches a proportion of the heavier vapours and sends them back for redistillation.
