A marvellous old bottle of Aberlour 1976 bottled as a 22-year-old at 43% in the late 1990s.

This special official bottling of Aberlour 1976 22-year-old was a limited edition of around 3000 bottles and was assembled from a crop of first fill ex-bourbon casks filled at the distillery in 1976. Aberlour is famously wonderful in sherrywood, but it also thrives over long periods in good bourbon casks, and this is a feast of orchard fruit and patisserie spices.
