A single cask Ardmore 1998 21-year-old Highland single malt whisky released by indie bottlers Douglas Laing in 2019 as part of their Old Particular range.
This 21-year-old Ardmore 1998 was bottled by Douglas Laing without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 13826, a refill hogshead cask that yielded a total of 271 bottles at 48%, one of the Old Particular preferred strengths, and should be an absolute delight.
Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

If you like your Whisky matured in a sherry cask then you will not be disappointed with this one, the flavours transferred from the Oloroso butts are unmistakably sherry, with a mixture of fruitiness coming through once you’ve added a slug of water, in my opinion at this cask strength you need need a good measure of H2O to really appreciate this very fine reasonably priced Whisky.
