Released in 2020, Macallan Edition No.6 is the final instalment in the Edition series and was inspired by the natural beauty of the River Spey and the Macallan Estate.
Five types of American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks were used to assemble Macallan Edition No.6, which was bottled at a palate-friendly 48.6% for extra flavour intensity and drinkability.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
