A small batch Macallan 18-year-old Double Cask Speyside single malt whisky. Macallan 18-year-old Double Cask is made available in small quantities as an annual release - this is the 2024 edition, bottled without colouring at a smooth 43%.

As the name suggests, Macallan Double Cask features two different types of wood, with the spirit spending its 18 years of maturation in a mix of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. Macallan Double Cask made its debut in 2020 and has proven extremely popular with the distillery's fans.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
