This did not have the depth and character I expected from a 15 year old big name. Very pleasant and drinkable but just a tad bland. I should add I am no expert!
A good price for a well-presented Macallan. Yes, it has some sulphur notes but they add a certain robustness and savoury side, which I enjoy. Probably a bit of a 'Marmite' dram.
Super flover and subtle.
Always a Consistent and good finished Bourbon.
Difficult to find better at this price, it was a revelation to try a peated column distilled malt whisky and find out something this good could be the result, has much in common with a young Ardbeg but at a much more sensible price.
