Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
A 15-year-old Port Dundas 2006 single cask single grain whisky bottled without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing in 2022 for the Cheers to Better Days offshoot of their Old Particular range, bringing some much-needed optimism and good vibes.
This Port Dundas 2006 15-year-old was 'charged from a refill butt' according to DL, although we're not sure whether that means it was finished or matured full term, and judging by the colour we'd guess that it might have been a Fino sherry butt in this instance. At any rate, there's just 356 bottles of this particular 2006 Port Dundas, bottled at the Old Particular standard strength of 85 imperial proof, aka 48.4%.
