This 30-year-old Glenfarclas 1983 was bottled from a refill hogshead Cask 31 at a natural cask strength of 46.1%, yielding 249 bottles. A pale Glenfarclas for its age, these long-aged refill hogsheads are usually brilliant (though atypical) Glenfarclas whiskies, with lots of juicy distillery character and complexity. One for contemplative sipping.
