Ardbeg Auriverdes was released back in 2014 with the name tying in with that year's Brazil World Cup theme of Green and Gold, referencing both the Brazil football team and the Ardbeg combo of green bottle and gold liquid, hence the name 'Auriverdes'.

Bottled at a hearty 49.9%, Ardbeg Auriverdes was matured in refill bourbon casks with specially toasted cask ends and is a big, sooty, smoky, tarry Ardbeg with a balanced mix of classic bourbon cask flavours with extra vanilla and coffee notes from the extra toasting.
