A single cask 1989 Rosebank bottled as a 30-year-old without colouring or chill filtration in 2019 by G&M for their upgraded Connoisseur's Choice Cask Strength range.
This 30-year-old Rosebank 1989 came from Cask 2561, a refill sherry hogshead that yielded just 175 bottles at its impressive natural cask strength of 55%. While the reconstruction and reopening of Rosebank is an event to be treasured by whisky fans it'll be a long time yet before the new distillery can come up with anything as good as this - in the meantime we should all be grateful for Gordon & MacPhail's legendary Elgin cellars, stuffed with treasures like these to keep us going.

Nose: Intense honeysuckle aromas with zesty orange marmalade and hints of milk chocolate.
Palate: Floral and herbal notes develop with chilli, golden syrup and lingering mature oak.
