Littlemill's troubled history meant that it never got the love and attention it deserved from a string of thoughtless owners, and official bottlings vary widely in quality. There have been some superb indie casks from the final years of production though.

This Littlemill is a single hogshead cask distilled in 1990, just two years before the distillery was closed for good, and was bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2005 as a 15-year-old at 43%. Expect light, sweet fruit and plenty of oak spice.
