Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 60.10% Hillside Glenesk, released as part of the Rare Malts series. One of only a handful of bottlings of Hillside this official bottling is perhaps the definitive example of this curious and oddly unknown malt. Green, peppery, dry, mineraled and full of citrus and white fruit aromas, this is typically old-style, difficult whisky but it makes for compelling and historically fascinating drinking.
