This 43-year-old Glendronach 1972 whisky matured in cask 706, a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt cask with an outturn of 414 bottles at a natural cask strength of 51.1%. These 1972s have been consistently spectacular, so expect some super-sherried fireworks with this one, which boasts a 94 point score from over 100 ratings on Whiskybase.
