A 1966 Macallan Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 1998 by Gordon & MacPhail for their legendary Speymalt series.

As always with the Speymalts, this thirty-something-year-old Macallan 1966 vintage is a wonderful example of aged Macallan in sherry wood - and of course it's far cheaper than official variants at the same age. This 1998 edition was the very first Macallan Speymalt bottled by G&M from the 1966 vintage, and it's a beautiful, classical, old school sherry-matured whisky with fantastic concentration of flavour.
